base pay split & infotype 14

I have a question regarding proration of a wagetype in infotype 14 caused by a split of base wagetype in infotype 8.

The base wagetype is set for no reduction in processing class 10, and the IT14 wagetype is set to factor by /801.

My question is regarding a scenario where a split has occurred in base wagetype, and triggered factoring by /801, despite the employee being active in whole month, the infotype 14 record set for whole month, and no factoring set on base wagetype..

If someone can clarify this, much appreciated.

you have to set a new specification for RPCL 47 as Z

and include the Rule in X011 PCR

Many reasons can cause a split in WPBP, and that split is sometimes required to process some WT in IT0014.

Depending on the WT, you could take advantage of the split or opt to eliminate it (through a PCR).
