SDK: Projects - how to create or modify project object?

How do I add or update a project? In Business One these are the projects which are defined in the menu option Administration - Definitions - Financials - Define Project. I cannot see an object or interface to do this in the UI SDK or the DI SDK. Am I overlooking it somewhere?

What would be the implications of a direct update (SQL) of the projects table OPRJ for importing data from a legacy system?

Hi,

The implications of a direct update (SQL) of the projects table would be the same implications of any direct update (SQL) to SAP Business One Database:

the data entered will not go through the verification and validation that data that enters via application / DI API goes through.

When manipulating the database using SQL you risk inserting invalid business data.
