CATW - recording working time

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has done any major modifications with CATW on the ITS. I have been modifying lots, but there is one problem that I have. I'm trying to get the 'Find' (little magnifying glass) functionality working for fields that we built ourself.

For example, I know that 'Rec. Order' calls 'F4_RAUFNR', but I have no idea where that is stored (R/3 or ITS or Portal).

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Kevin,

The Rec. Order Nos are stored in the AUFK table. Hope this is what you were looking for..

Hi Kevin,

I have some issues when i try to get the CATW transaction in Portal.

a)I have created an IAC Iview with the CATW as tansaction,we are on EP 6.0 SP1 and R/3 4.6B.

b)When I view this particular IView , first of all I get a lot of security alerts and also it takes a lot of time to display the time sheet in the IView.Is there some setting on ITS to be done so that we can avoid the security alerts and also the time taken to display the time sheet in Portal could be reduced.

Hmmm...

I'm not sure about running CATW under EP 6.0. We are using EP 5.0. But, what are the attributes in the iView editor for CATW?

Is there not an SAP delivered iView that calls CATW?

I have made copies of the iView, function group and internet service for CATW, called ZCATW, and I have been modifying that for the last couple weeks. I had no problems with the authorizations for it, but I know that 5.0 is weaker with the authorizations than 6.0.

What is the security alert that you are getting? How long is it taking for CATW to load in the browser? And what browser are you using?

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the response.Regarding the security alerts, we were accessing the CATW from a non secure layer, that problem is solved.

Well there are a couple of more issues..

1. Is there any way I can disable the header of the CATW screen to be displayed in Portal.I tried passing the parameter "essmenu=menu" to the CATW component , but it did not work.

2. There is a column mismatch in the CATW screen, all the CATW columns are shifted to one position on the right hand side, this happens at the ESS level also.Do we need to do some customization at the ESS level to avoid this.

Sorry for taking so long to get back...

1. Disable the header? Do you mean the area where the username and personnel number are listed?

2. In the CATW Internet Service template 1000app, you have to edit the colspan attribute of the <td> tag, and adjust it to whatever you need... It takes some playing around, but works.

Hi Friends,

we are using custom ZCATW, it is taking a lot of time too run on the ITS. we need some enhancement on this CATW.Shell we go for new service or can we use the same existing service..

plese suggest me
