Hi All,

I am trying to download patches for the CRM 7.0 SR1 Java stack.

I have solman and I have successfully applied SP on CRM ABAP.

But When I am trying to configure Solman to download SP for CRM Java it gives an error "System <SID> is not assigned to a host".

I tried googling it, but didnt find any relevent information on Configuring Solman for Java nor any thing related to this error.

Please help!!

Best Regards,

Sharib Tasneem

Hello,

You should ensure that the appropriate note from the following has been applied and the manual steps performed.

1172948 SAP Solution Manager: Basic functions

1334252 SAP Solution Manager: Basic functions: SP20 and SP21

1405878 SAP Solution Manager: Basic functions: SP22 to SP24

1468591 SAP Solution Manager: Basic functions: SP25 and higher

If you have applied these notes already, or applying them does not resolve this problem, then if you use SLD, delete the system from SMSY and run a landscape_fetch job.

These actions should address this error.

Regards,

Paul

Hello,

This error message usually appears when there is no Java technical system assigned to the Java product instance in the 'assignment of product instances' tab for the system in SMSY.

Please check this and let me know if assigning the Java technical system helps.
