How to configure time dependent Cost Center Hierarchies?

We are working with version 30B. Plug in 2003_1.

We would like to configure the standard Cost Center Hierachies as time dependent. This can be done by chaning the InfoObject definition. However it is not possible to define transfer rules for "date from" and "date to". These fields are not visible AND not filled.

Does anyone an idea how to deal with this?

If you are going to load from flat file the Trasfer Structre will be defined when you select "eDIT HIER. DEFINITIONS". Just copy the sequence of fields to understand how to prepare your files. See http://help.sap.com ther is a brief explanation of this fields in a section "Loading Hierarchies from flat file".

If you are loading from R/3 you have no other possibility than loading the same kind of hierarchy definded in R/3 (Version, ...)

I was indeed looking for a possibility in combination with R/3-datasource.

So I am afraid i have to live with the datasource and possibilities as provided by SAP.

The same question appeared in SAPFANS forum (same person?). The suggestion was to assign 'today' and a constant to from and to dates.
