Converting Internal Table Width

Does anybody know how to convert an internal table of width 255 to an internal table of width 134, I know that if I wanted to go from a lower width to a higher width that I could use the Function Module

'<b><b>sx_table_line_width_change</b></b>', but that function doesn't work for a higher width to a lower width. Thanks in advance for any help

The problem is what should happen with the data of the columns 135-255?

Should it just be cut off? Put into the next line? Put into the next line but only if it is something else then blanks? ...until special character...etc...

I think the easiest way is to create a new internal table loop over th eold one and copy the data line by line in the way you need it.

And BTW: this function module is not released for public usage!

    Justin,

Can you tell me why you would want to do this? Seems unneccesary to me.

    Regards,
