Executed report from BI Platform error?

Hi

I created Design studio application(with universe data source) in SAP Design Studio 1.6.

I executed in local successfully, but I try to execute in BI Platform it shows the following error,

SAP BO Version : 4.2 SP02

Design studio version: 1.6

Please share your valuable inputs,

    Has the add-on for the BI platform been installed?

    HI Chandra,

    Did you tried changing connection to OLAP Connection because in local mode by default it will be connected to backend BW try to change the connection and publish to repository

    Hi Chandra,

    Does the same user id have access for BI system. If yes, please check if that user has S_RFC authorization object assigned to the Role which is given to the user ID.

    A few suggestions from the team here:

    On all Adaptive processing servers where the "Analysis Application Service" is running, have you added the following services

    • AdaptiveConnectivityService
    • DSL bridge service
    • Data federated service

    Also when you have added the AdaptiveConnectivityService, you need to configure it o work with your connection server: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1948311

    As suggested above, ensure that the user accessing the dashboard has correct permissions/access rights to the universe from the BI Platform CMC.

    Could you add a detailed log exception coming from the GLF server logs when the exception occurs?

    It may give us some clues!

      Hi Sekhar,

      It would be quite hard to determine what the issue is without seeing the logs. If you have to keep the log files confidential which I understand, it might be best to raise a support incident here. Id recommend upping your log level in the APS properties in the CMC to medium or high for the logs you will collect to attach to the ticket.

      Most of the connectivity issues are resolved by the informative SAP note posted above, so this must be something unique to your setup/configuration I would think.
