    Hello,

    I tried to install on

    - Notebook 1.4 GHz, 1GB RAM with 1 disk, two partitions C and D, both NTFS

    - 10 GB free on each drive C and D

    - Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 1

    - Download of WAS 6.40 unpacked and installation started on drive C

    - but installation also uses drive D

    Kind Regards,

    - Wolfgang

    Hello,

my installer suggests to install the DB on drive D.

I changed this default to drive C, but with no success.

    But finally:

My Master Password contained (due to our security policies) special characters "!", ";" and "." .

When I repeated the whole installation with a Master Password without any special characters, the installation finally ran to the end without error.

    Kind Regards,

    - Wolfgang

Had the same problem here. Password zaq1ZAQ! made it crash. Changed to a password without the ! and it worked.

By the way, the installation process needs a lot of work. PA check on the password right after you enter it in the installation script would be nice. And not wait until half way in and dying because you chose a bad password.
