Insert Orders from my POS retail system to the SAP Business One DB - need h

I am new to data integration with SAP. I am using the DI API. Would someone point me to a good tutorial and / or sample code to insert sales transactions from an external system to the SAP Business One system? I am planning to write this application interface layer in VB.Net, but I am proficient any old VB6 or C# - so any type of code examples would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance!

If you install the Business One SDK you get a full set of samples as well as the help file which shows you examples & has good documentation for the DI.

The samples will install into C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One SDK\Samples\COM DI\VB.NET and I think 01.BasicOperations and 05.OrderAndInvoice would be good ones to start with.

Search for "Documents Object" in the helpfile and there are a ton of code samples there for add, cancel, update etc

    Best of luck

I can't seem to find the download the SDK on this site. I just keep seeing references to it.

The SDK package is included with either the Business One installer or a Business One patch, in a folder called "Packages".

If you don't have either, you can contact your SAP partner to ask for it, or if you are working for a client ask them to provide it to you.
