.Net Connector and BOM

Hello,

I am new to SAP and the .Net connector and need to integrate our product with SAP using the .Net connector. I am in the processing of gather information and would like to know which BAPI's are needed to create a Bill of Material and if this is a very big effort?

hi

you can refer ifr.sap.com for documentation on the BAPIs and Objects. To test you would need access to a system.

Hi,

The BOR object MaterialBOM seems to be exactly what you are looking for. Please have a look at it in BAPI explorer (T-code:BAPI).

Thank you for the reply. Where can I get the BAPI Exporer? I am in the very early stages of getting my SAP remote connectivity and I don't have a SAP user account yet. Is this available to the general public?

Rob,

You have to first try to get access to a SAP system, at least to a training or demo system. Otherwise, you can't do anything.

I don't think that there is any SAP system that is open to the general public.
