Cancellation of leave in Leave request

Hi friends

In ESS leave request if i have applied leave for two days say for example 15th,16 th december and it is sent for approval and my approver approved leaves .Now when i have availed only 15th leave and not used 16th approved leave How can i cancel this leave in the portal as this is appearing in one row .Because if i select that row and click on delete it wil delete the availed leave also which should not happen.can anybody please let me know how can i resolve this issue in the portal.

    Hi,

    For the Absence type, check the below in the SPRO

    Personnel Management - Employee Self-Service - Service-Specific Settings - Working Time - Leave Request - Processing Processes - Specify Processing Processes for Types of Leave - Define Absences/Processing Processes

    Open Details and check the system responses, make sure the checkbox is unchecked for No Changes to Leave Permitted and also No Deletion of leave permitted.

    And then close the browser and relogin and from the calendar select 16th Dec and you should be able to see the Delete Button highlighted.

      Thank you very much for the response Mr.Pramod.

      i checked and found that they are unchecked .My case is when i applied leave for two days it appears in one row in my leaves over view if i want to cancel one of the leaves how can i do that as both leaves are on one row and if i select it and try to cancel both leavees are going to get cancelled which should not happen right.Iwant only one leave to be cancelled.Can u please let me know how can i cancel only one apporved out of two approved leaves.If you are not cleared i will provide u teh screenshot also.

    you have two approved leaves and you requested them togather, so its one request

    now if you need to cancel it, You need to delete or change the dates if this request and send for approval again if it is approved again!

      I am able to resolve with ur suggestion i have changed the date and again sent the request to approver instaed of two nowonly one leave approved which is the solution for my issue
