Hi Experts,

I had created Service order with a Spare Part and then did the service confirmation as a followup process

as part of Sap Best Practices Scenario C69 Service Order Management in integration with SAP R/3

I am getting the below error in Service Confirmation document

Fld selectn for mvmt type 291 / acct 608000 differs for Commitment item(020) (Notification E M7 093)

Please suggest the solution for the same.

Hi,

This error is encountered if there are difference in the Field Selection of the GL account group and the movement type. This both have to be similar.

Made changes in R3 field settings

Tcode: OBC4

Select 0001 and click on Field status groups

Select G004 and click on Field Status button

From the list displayed select Additional account assignments

The fields Commitment item (Radio Button)

Check if this field is marked as Opt Entry

Check fields for movement type 291 in tcode OMJJ

Hi Pepe ,

Thanks for ur immediate reply.

In obc4 Transaction I find multiple variants 0001 and 0010.

I would like to know where we can we see the mapping for the field status variant with the G/L Account

so that I can maintain the settings accordingly for the respective field status variant.

Hi Pavan,

Goto FS03 and the enter the gl account which is displayed in the error message.

Then goto Create/bank/interest tab>field status group> double click and check the Additional account assignments entries..

Cross check this with movement type settings

Hi Pepe,

I maintained the Field status variant settings in accordance with the movement type settings by refering to the Gl A/c in error

message. After making the changes service confirmation is getting saved with out any errors.
