Dear Experts,

The user is not able to enter the decimal point qty in ME51N for the material. While entering the 1.9 Qty, the system is showing a error message. Is this standard behavior or do we need change some setting for user in Su3 for this issue or we have ask the user to use "," instead of "."

Thanks,

Raju

Hi Jurgen,

This is what I see in SU3 for the user. In order to enter decimal point. So this needs to be changed then?

Thanks,

Raju

What settings does the user have in SU3?

shouldn't his have been your first investigation instead of asking here? you already mentioned it yourself.

if the user has a settings that his decimal separator is comma, then he can't use a point for decimal separator without changing the setting, as this is used for the thousands then.

This confusing message text has already been corrected in newer releases to: Enter the thousand separators in the correct places
