Dear all,

I am trying to enter a PO in SRM with different Order Price Unit than OuM (standard in MM). Do i have the possibility or not?

In my system i do not see any such option. Do i have to make some settings?

My problem is that in the SRM portal the order price unit is greyd out. I want to be able to enter unit order price in the portal, as my material is purchased in carton but the price is per Kg.

Anyone please.

My problem is that in the SRM portal the order price unit is greyd out.

On the item overview of SRM Purchase Order, there are, among others, the following columns with headers like the following

quantity

unit

gross price

currency

per

net price

With a product master (from ECC) item, the "quantity", "unit", "gross price" and "per" columns are editable. And the "per" column is the "price unit" field in SRM. Which field, more specifically, with what column header, is the "order price unit" field you referred to?

dear Jay Yang ,

After going to the item details, there is a field price/per and at the per field i cannot select an alternative unit of measure (eg Kg) which i have maintained in MDM catalog.

the field per is open but there i enter a numeric value. i also want to change the per unit of measure. e.g

10 CAR 12 EUR 1 KG

Thanx in advance

I see now what you are trying. But SRM does not offer you both the "per" and "alternative UoM" as it does in ECC. There is only one UoM field "Unit" for you to enter. The only way you can try is to enter the "KG" (which is the order unit you want) for UoM and then any number in "Per" field, which is the price unit. So you can order an item as the following

Quantity = 10

Unit = KG

Price = 6

Currency = USD

Price unit (per) = 2

This definition reads: I would like to order 10 KG of the goods for 6 USD per 2 KG of the good. (The unit price would be 3 USD effectively.)

Hi

As per SRM standard, if you change the Order unit in Material Maser in ECC , you can order in SRM also.

for example MM 10202 has basic uom as EA and Order unit as CAR ( 1 car = 12 EA) .

When you order the material , The system must have shown as CAR to help you to order .

Dear muthuraman,

i dont care about the order unit but for the Order PRICE unti.

for e.g i want to make a po for a material for 10 Cartons and invoice in Kg (1 car= 5kg). Does this functionality exist in SrM?

I am asking for Order price unit and not order unit of measure.

In mm i can enter an order price unit during po. Is this possible in SRM?

Price unit is also possible in SRM. You should see it under item data. Sometimes it is referred to by label "per".

Is this by default or additional customizing is required, because in my system i do not see such a field

It is by default there. Which SRM release are you running?

If your item is from backend product master, you can't put in any unit of measure but only those defined for the material master in the ECC system.
