EP6: Can an XSLT access CM properties?

I'm looking at an EP6 installation where need to add metadata to XML documents displayed in the portal.

Is it possible to include CM properties such as date, author/owner, description, TReX categorisations or other custom properties we've defined in a transformation so their values get included in the final document displayed either as rendered text or in meta tags?

Cheers,

-Richard

    Update:

Any CM Property can be accessed by the XML Forms builder in EP6. Says to in the book and it actually works too!
