detailed nav not kicking off iviews in ep 6 sp2

I have created a set of pages, the iviews are displayed properly.I have the pages set in a detailed navigation.

I go to launch a page from the detail nav- page loads but no iviews appear on the right hand side.

I have thoroughly test the pages in preview and even set specific page as top level nav... no problem but it seems that the detailed pages's iviews are not kicking in..

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I realize that I can set iviews into the worksets, but I need pages to place 2 views on a page.
