Steps to read a file using the file adapter

Could someone tell me what I must do in XI to read a simple text file I have placed on my XI server using the file adapter?

Hi Patrick,

You will need a file adapter. There should be a template available in the Tech_Adapter folder just use that & create your own file adapter.

All the necessary docmentation on how to do this are in the adapter guide.

I set up the file adapter but where or how do I see the results? How could I display the results in an ABAP program?
