Getting WebService Client to work with SAP PDK 5.0.6

49 Views Last edit Jul 04, 2019 at 05:18 PM 2 rev

I am using the SAP PDK 5.0.6 and attempting to produce the repsponse on a webservice call in an iView. I created the SOAP proxy classes with the SAP J2EE Engine SOAP Proxy generator, and the web service call works fine in a simple java class with a main[]. I added the jar file the utility produced to my Portal Component class path along with the inqmysoap.jar, mail.jar, activation.jar, inqmyxml.jar, inqmysoap.jar and inqmy-lib.jar. I also add these jars to my projects lib directory. When I attempt to use this functionality to display the results in a table in a iView the SOAP request call does not work. Has anyone been able to get a Web Service client proxy to work with the 5.0.6 PDK?

I added the following lines of code to the doInitialization() method of my JSPDyn page the page will not work. I actually get a java.lang.NumberFormatException, but no further details.

****code******************

TestSoap port1 = new TestSoap();

GetAllOrdersResponse orderArrayResp = port1.getAllOrders(new GetAllOrders());

int orderCount = orderArrayResp.getGetAllOrdersResult().countOrder();

//Array of orders

ArrayOfOrder orderArray = orderArrayResp.getGetAllOrdersResult();
