You will not be able to change the owner of the request once it is released. You can import the same request from QA to Prod.

If you need to transport with your ID, collect the DSO in the Dev system with your ID, Move it to QA and then to Production.

Hi,

Just to add to Ghuru's reply above, you may want to import the new request in overwrite mode if the DSO is locked in QA box with other request.

No I just want to use the already existing request ..which were previously use. If he can withdraw so that with the same requests I should have to move.

You can import the same request to PRD.

Can you explain what you mean by "withdraw the request from QA,what does it imply? "

Hi Swathi,

In Such scenrios, we used ask our admin to add our id to the existing TR. Once, he adds our ID to that TR we can move this to P as we are involved in this TR.

Else, you can unlock this Object from the existing TR in Dev, Try to activate your objects, then it will ask you TR number, in which you can give your required TR(Transport Request).

Now, you can move this TR to Q and then to P. I don't think that we can withdraw a request from Q.

Hope this helps you. Thanks.

as mentioned once a request is released there is nothing much you can do to change it ... however what you can do is possibly :

Create a copy of the transport you want to send to BWP and assign it under your name - your BASIS admin should also be able to do that. You can do this either as a copy request or create an empty request in dev yourself and then import objects from the older request into your request.

This way the older request still remains in the queue and you can move the same changes using a request assigned against your name.
