Netweaver developer studio OSX

Does anybody know if the netweaver developer studio is to be released for Mac OSX. I currently use the javaGui for SAP work and Eclipse for my Java work but can't find any information about what platforms the developer studio will run on when official 6.40 is released.

Hopefully SAP will have created a version as it tends to create versions of its software as standard for different flavours of UNIX.

Hi Edward,

At the moment the Developer Studio is only available on Windows OS. At CeBIT we distributed a Technology Testdrive on DVD "SAP Web Application Server on Linux", including the Developer Studio. In order to get some more information please go to

The DVD will be available soon at the SAP Knowledge Shop.

Regarding all other OS plans I need to come back again.

Hi Edward,

For NetWeaver 05 the Developer Studio will be available on the Windows platform. For all future releases I am not able to provide any information yet.
