Transport Routes STMS

I have EHP4 running on two different machines on same network. Each one has different host name, SID and instance number. I am not able to join them and create transport routes. In STMS I am choosing u201CExternal Systemsu201D!!!. I am not sure what I am missing in parameters. Please Help.

    Hi,

    what error are you getting ?

    Also, make sure that before connecting in STMS, both systems hostname and IP address should be present in hosts file of both the systems.

    Why are you choosing external System. You have to send a request from one System to the Domain Controller, and then you have to approve the connection from Domain Controller.

      Hi,

      In your case you can't have this bu as for the information External system is combine if real and virtual system where you can save and distribute among other system, Virtual - consider a scenario (Implementation stage) where you have only 1 system physically available ex, DEV but in future you have to build up QAS, PRD and more so here you can add your virtual QAS, PRD, Domain links are used when you have multiple Domains available - Need expert advice on this as I have only theoretically aware of this 😉
