BSP times out

What's the best way to avoid the Connection Timed Out error when running a BSP? I initiate a rather time-consuming task via a BSP, and receive the above error after a certain amount of time.

Is this "customizable" anywhere? In SAP? At the OpSystem level?

The system parameter in report rsparam is icm/keep_alive_timeout
