handling Pop up screens in BDC

Hi,

I am writing new bdc for HR master data updation using PA40 transaction. in this process I am unable to handle the pop up screen ( pop up screen appears in organization assignment infotype to delimiti th eposition of employee ).

please suggest how to handle the pop ups in BDC.

Silly question but have you run PA40 using the Transaction Recorder (transaction SHDB)?

You have to run one case with all the data and record..

once you get the recording,you have to decide on the popups and fine tune your code...

Hi Ashok,

I checked transaction PA40, but I am not getting any pop up message. Have you done the recording for PA40 in SHDB? I think in recording, you just need to press enter if any pop up comes. One more suggestion, instead of BDC, a function module ''HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION' can be used for HR infotype update. I have used the same FM forinfotype 0017( travel privileges) update.

Hi,

Handling popup screens in bdc is id that pop up is the messages they will not appear during bdc running. but if it is screen

for data then they will be recored.
