Communication beetwen similar iviews

Hi everybody!

I develloped websphere portals, but now turned over to mySAP.

In webspere there is a construct wich is named "click to action",

meening the communication beetwen similar portlets(iviews).

The function is following: For example: With a click inside one ivew

a database access should be starting and the data will be visible

in a different iview.

Is there a possibility to use a construction like that in SAP-portals?

And are there any examples to find.
