You don't need an EPA file, you either

    a) uploaded via eclipse

    b) upload it via the portal (there is a par upload iview not sure if it is under the administrator or javadeveloper role)

But it would beb nice to know how to make EPA files

You can create EPA files by using the Export Wizard found under "System Administration/Transport/Export".

There you can create a new transport package and add iviews, roles, ... to it.

    Hi,

The code we generate from the Eclipse environment will be in .par. This file is the one needs to be upload into the portal.

.epa is from the portal side. With java developer privilege, we can not generate .epa (as per my knowledge)In order to generate .epa, we need system administrator privilege. Login as a sys admin, choose "System Administration" and click "Transport" then choose "Export".

There is a technical demo available in the SDN Enterprise portal page which is more helpful to know all these details.
