Hardware Requirements for lokal DevWorkplace NW7.0 SR3

Hi all,

I'm looking forward to set up a local installation of developers workplace on Laptop. What is the minumum in case of (refferal of SAP) hardware requirement (RAM, CPU). Is there any SAP Sheet?

Hi,

try : service.sap.com/quicksizer

but in general, I say 2 GHz CPU and 4 GB memory is sufficient.

if you can provide more memory or better CPU it will be better.

Check the Installation Guide for a minimum sizing requirement. The sizing requirements for CPU & Mem is as follows:

- RAM: 1 GB required, 2 GB recommended

- CPU: 1.5 GHz required, 2 GHz recommended

The disk requirements vary based on the database you want to use:

Hi,

thx for feedback.

Im using already 2,2ghz and 3gb RAM.

It runs between 3,00 an 3,3 RAM Memory (Taskmanager). Local J2EE Engine, NWDS included.
