Hello Experts,
I have installed SAP Netweaver with oracle database on Suse Linux, I have Dev, QAT and Prod Sysems installed. I have performaed below actions to configure STMS.
1.Renamed /usr/sap/trans dir of Dev and Prod to trans.old
2.Exported dev Systems /usr/sap/trans dir to QA and Prod
3.Given full permissions to trans dir
4.Configured Dev system as domain controller
5.Configured Transport routes
Now to test this settings, i have created a Test transport request and relased it, I see data and cofiles are exported to common trans dir,. When i check buffer with option tp showbuffer SID pf=TP_DOAMIN_SID.PFL, it display the entry.
But when i go to STMS-Import Queue, Double click on QAT SID, Import queue shows zero, and after that when i check buffer from os level using with tp option there also it displays 0. When ever i refresh STMS buffer is cleaning automatically.
I am not sure where i did wrong... Please Help me , Your help is appreciated
Thanks,
Rajesh
First check your transport group.
The way you have configured it by nfs-mounting the /usr/sap/trans of dev - you should have only one transport group. Check that whether test system is in the same transport group as the dev system.

My bad,
I went Domain controller, Systems, when i double click on QAT system, transport group entry was missing, i have provided domain controller transport group and tried Test transport, It works, Thanks a lot
But, Why do we need to provide transport group manually? When we initialize STMS in QAT by adding it to DC it should take the transport group, Correct?
Please advice... BTW - Thanks for the light that you have thrown on me
