Please.....need help.....very urgent

Hi,

I am very new to portals but have enough knowledge with web application designer. this may be very basic but appreciate if you can help me. could anyone please guide me into portal. i read portal documentation. I created web template and published an iView from Web Application Designer. now, what i understood is i need to import the iview into portal. can any one guide me if there are any steps. from the documentation, I see that I need to go to administration tab and import the iViews. But I anticipate that I don't have administration rights to create import iViews as I can't see administration tab in my Portal pages.
