Sathish:

Where did you get V6.20 of the Test Drive WAS? The version I got with my ABAP Objects books was 6..10...

Hai,

As no one helped me i had to help myself, I started with a fresh Win XP installation. all i had to do is make the secondary (account with my name) admin account password protected and start with the mini was 6.20 installation, and follow the on screen instructions. Got a 100% installation. i am putting these lines because it may help some one.

sathish.

It has been awhile but what do you mean make a secondary account with "my name" admin account password protected?

I have the same error as you with my install.

I wiped everything out, went to the CD1\R3SETUP\BSP* and changed the install directory to another drive and tried again this time for who knows what reason it went 100%.

Perhaps the way my C drive is formatted??

Hai Craig,

What i ment was, format the partition with OS, Install the OS and install Minisap WAS 6.20. If you are installing Minisap WAS 6.20 and OS on the same drive.

Thanks for the info, it went for some reason I just told the install to go to another location instead ofthe default. Strange huh?
