Create a WM Transfer Requirement against Reservation

Hello,

I have the following request.

Currently we use PM module and create a PM Order and then users put the components, once that is done, a reservation is created.

I have the request to implement WM with this process.

That they need to continue using is the reservation and against this,m create the transfer requirement.

The question is, what steps I need to follow, I required to use mov type 261, but I cannot see the requirement type for "Reservations", I only see:

B Purchase Order

D Storage bin

F Order

K Cost center

L Sales document

Should be created one for reservations like:

R Reservation

what else shpould be updated? any user exit to include that?

Which version of SAP u r on ? I am on ECC & can't you use either of the highlighted ones coupled with 261 movement type for your WH# ?

Hello, Thanks for the response.

Im on SAP ECC 6.0.

The P-prod supply we don´t have is because of the WH is only for indirect materials, no materials goes to the production supply directly.

Here we have papers, tooling, clothes, etc. Not row materials.

And we use in MIGO Movt 261 to do good issue based on reservation.

I check my configuration and MovT 261 is associate with the requirement type "F - Order", we use for CO internal order and for PM maintanance orders.

But with this request is needed to create TRs with ref to a reservation.

SAP allows only F Order as Reservation being part of Prod Order.

Doesn't make much sense creating TR against Reserv & not against Prod order !!!

I have the same problem and found that you can create a TR and TO from MIGO Goods Issue, select Reservation (261), enter the reseration # and the materials should display on the screen. If the reservation is from a Prouction Order then the materials will need to have the backfluch unchecked.

We have that exact scenario, and implemented WM last month. This is the process:

- WO created in PM with Components. WO saved and Reservation created automatically.

- In MM, Tcode MB1A to issue material out with MOv Type 201. This automatically creates a TR AND a TO. You can switch that off if you want, that was our requirement.

- TO is confirmed when goods are actually taken out of warehouse.

We have no developments or user exits, it's all standard and it's working perfectly.

Check OMLR and make sure to assign your movement type , and put an X on the "Create Transfer Requirement" column (we use 201, not 261). see snapshot:

Dear Bela,

What i could understand from above is as below.

Goods issue is carried out based on reservation which will automatically create TR and TO.

Above screen shot will be helpful for config where movement type is relevant for auto TO creation.

Does that answer your query.
