PDK Runtime error

Hey,

I've been getting this error and can't seem to figure out what I have to change. I am trying to export a predelivered iView from the Business Package for Manager Self-Service 50.4.1. This is the main part of the error:

com.sapportals.portal.prt.runtime.PortalRuntimeException: delegatedplugin

...

Caused by: com.sapportals.portal.prt.component.PortalComponentException: Error in init method

...

Caused by: com.sapportals.portal.prt.core.broker.PortalComponentInstantiationException: Could not instantiate implementation class com.sap.pct.hcm.employeeprofile.generaldata.GeneralDataComponent of Portal Component MHeeProfileGeneralData.header because: Could not instantiate implementation class

...

Caused by: com.sapportals.portal.prt.runtime.ProfileNotFoundException: Profile not found, please check the profile path : com.sap.pct.hcm.hcm_util.default

I have followed instructions on the iViewStudio web site (FAQ) on how to fix the problem, but did not help. I have searched through the SDN site, SAPFans, SAPGenie and a couple others, and have not found an answer.

Any help would be great!

  • One more thing to add, is it possible to export pre-delivered iViews to the PDK and if so, where are there instructions on how to do that.

TIA!!

Kevin

You can't deploy these Business Packages into the PDK. You have to use a full Enterprise Portal installation.
