TREX 6 and document relevance

Hi,

Is it possible to tweak the way TREX calculates the relevance for documents? Is a description of the default algorithm for the relevance calculations available?

This is rather interesting since we would like to make a special kind of documents to appear at the top in the result list when executing search requests.

Cheers,

Pierre

We are also interested in this concept of putting certain sites at the top of the list. This is much like a Google AdWord or Overture advertisement that you see at many sites. The Verity search engine allows for adding quick links at the top of the results page for any keyword(s).

I had a customer request this ability. We investigated and as of now, the ability to tweak the relevancy and/or placed selected sites on top, as far as I know, is not currently available.
