Problems during the installation of WAS 6.40 Sneak Preview

The following error occured during the installation of the WAS 6.40 Sneak Preview:

MDB-070048 Could not load the system tables.

I'm using Windows2000, Service Pack 4. Firewall and virus-scan is disabled.

Hope someone can help me.

    Similar problem faced by me.During Installation it is stopping at 'Online Deploying' i.e just before the last part.I have to logoff and tried it again.Again I am getting similar problem.

    I want to know if we have to start the WAS 6.40 before proceeding with the installation of last 2 steps i.e online deploying and installation of netweaver studio?

    My operating system is 2000 server.I logged in as administartor.

    Any help/leads in this regard is highly appreciated.Thanks in advance.

      Hi,

      I have same problem with win2k3 server. system lang. and locale is Turkish and Turkey. I'm changed to English United States. problem is resolved. Maybe your problem is similar.
