Integrate XI 2.0 with BW3.0

we are trying to prototype integration of SAP 4.7 with BW 3.0 using XI2.0, but not sure of the integration method. Is there an adapter or ... can somebody shed some light on this.

Dear Pandari,

i think there is no special adapter for BW-System. Because BW-System is also an R/3-System with WAS 6.20 you can use the same technic like connection to R/3-System.

This could be:

- ABAP Proxy

- IDOC-Adapter

- RFC-Adapter

- Plain-HTTP Adapter

- SOAP-Adapter

The best way is using ABAP-Proxy and RFC-Adapter because you can use BAPI to populate the BW-Infosource. But think

that it is required to install plug-in into your WB-System to be able to configure the BW-System as an local intergration Engine. This is required for using ABAP-Proxy!
