How do I log onto sneak preview Web AS 6.40

Maybe it's a stupid question (never worked with Web AS before, so...), but I succesfully installed the Web AS 6.40 sneak preview. The servers (including the database) run smoothly, as I can see in the SAP MMC (beautiful green bulbs...). However, when I try to log on to my central instance, the connection just waits and waits for an available workprocess (so it seems). When I look in my process-table in MMC, no workprocesse are available (so that figures); but workprocesses CAN'T be started, because no disp+work is delivered with the sneak preview.

Am I missing something (one way or another)?
