How to invoke a SAP session?

Is there any way to invoke a SAP session or form or window like BAPI Explorer from an outside JAVA application?

If you write it yourself, yes.

If you are talking about the development environment, this is part of the BAPI Connection Wizard, which can be found in the Menu File/New.../projects (Or near that)

      Thanks for the reply.

But I don't have the development environment with BAPI Connection wizard. I am a novice to SAP. Would you please elaborate a little on this?

    Hi Vijaya,

do you want to call RFC enabled Function Modules with Java? Download the JavaConnector form http://service.sap.com/connectors or ask your Basis Administrator to do this. Then read the documentation and try the example programs.

    Regards
