Data exchange with EBP 3.5

Hi there,

we would like to connect an external, web-based application to hire temporary labor to EBP 3.5. The Exchange Infrastructure won't be implemented and ready to go live until early next year, so we are left with using OCI 4.0 for the entire 2-way data exchange process at the moment. How could we use OCI to enable communication between EBP and the application (i.e. Timesheet approval etc.) and would the implementation of XI actually solve this problem?
