BADI BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT - GET_TAXCODE is not triggered in SRM 7.0

Hi SRM Experts,

I'm facing a problem with the BAdi BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT. We are upgraing

from SRM 5.0 to SRm 7.0. we have already a implementation which is

active for GET_TAXCODE. Inside the method GET_TAXCODE, i restricted the

values for the TAXCODE dropdown list. When i click the drop down , BAdi

should get triggered. But, in my case, the BAdi is not getting

triggered.

I even debugged it through the FM BBP_GET_TAXCODE_F4. It says there is

no active implementation, even though i have one. This problem is in

SRM 7.0 only.

Am i missing something to trigger this BAdi in SRM 7.0?

BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT is obsolete in SRM 7.0.

Hi Venkatesh

You can create an implicit enhancement implementation in the FM - BBP_GET_TAXCODES_F4 to restrict the tax code values.

Hi,

If the users is belong to US , only US tax codes should display in drop down box in shopping cart.

Hi Venaktesh,

You can create a Custom F4 help (logic ....fetch the coutry of the user and then output only relevant TAx codes) and then replace the standard F4 help with this Custom one by creating an post exit to the INIT/Modify view of the concerned Web dynpro component.

Thanks for the reply on the post.

I have similar requirement but can not use BADi as this is obsolete, can you please suggest the approch in details as we have not worked on Web Dynpro.

Also if the BADI BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT is obsolete, does SAP provided any other BADI which can be used for the same purpose?

Please clarify, Any help would appreciated.
