EWM Integration with ECC within same client

I am trying to integrate EWM which resides in the same client in which ECC resides in. This makes me unable to create a logical system for EWM as it doesn't have a separate client. So, I am not able to follow the standard steps for integration. How should I approach this scenario. If anyone having this kinda experience, please let me know asap. Also, tell me is that how EWM as a add on deployment is done? Thanks a lot!

You will have to create dummy logical system (i.e without assigning any client to it) for above scenario.

Hello

Through a SAP partner information forum I heard SAP decoupled EWM from the SCM basis layer, enabling companies to install EWM as an add-on to ERP. Does any one know which enhancement pack this was done and how to install EWM as an add-on to ECC 6.0. Has any one done this before, appreciate if any one can share information with regard to this..

I am a functional guy so I have no idea of how to install EWM as an add on or anything to do with Basis. All I know was I was able to integrate to replicate master data and deliveries from ECC to EWM and vice versal by following above posted link. I hope this helps.

All I needed was something that tells me to create a dummy system, I got what I wanted.
