EWM Integration with ECC within same client

I am trying to integrate EWM which resides in the same client in which ECC resides in. This makes me unable to create a logical system for EWM as it doesn't have a separate client. So, I am not able to follow the standard steps for integration. How should I approach this scenario. If anyone having this kinda experience, please let me know asap. Also, tell me is that how EWM as a add on deployment is done? Thanks a lot!
