Client-side Groupware Integration - Several problems with outlook

Hi all,

I am facing some errors with the client-side groupware integration. We have CRM 7.0 (SP 6) and Microsoft Outlook 2003.

The synchronisation itself works fine. We have set up https and the profiles for synchronization are maintained.

But there are the following errors/problems:

1.) The Button "Relate to CRM" doesn't work. We are able to enter Account and Contact person but the appointment is not synchronized with CRM. The appointment remains in Outlook and nothing happens in CRM. Is there additional Customizing needed?

2.) When synchronizing an CRM appointment to Outlook the appointment gets an alert in Outlook. We want to eleminate the alert but I didn't found the customizing for that. Is it possible?

3.) Notes of an appointment are not synchronized to Outlook. This should be standard?

4.) Our system is an upgrade from CRM 4.0. In the old version we used the server-side groupware integration. Which means that the outlook has already CRM appointments but the category is "CRM_ACT 001". With the client-side groupware integration the category changed to "SAP CRM". This means that "old" appointments created in CRM 4.0 are not replicated to CRM anymore because of the different category. Is there a special "migration task" we have to do?

All hints or solution are appreciated! 😊

Thanks in advance.
