Process Chain DTP issue

1. Every day for the particular DTP getting failed, I checked in the monitor. Please see the screen below

2. Particular Record has some space issue, Please see the below screen shot,

3.So I thought to edit the PSA for particular record, So I deleted the red request for the particular DTP red request.

4. It shows only 13 records, so I checked in PSA maintenance but I could not find the above record

    Hi there,

There is not much information to go on, but can you check the following:

    1. Settings of the DTP, it might be set to full, instead of delta update

    2. That there is only 1 PSA record (the latest) that is not yet loaded. It might be that this is an old issue, but was never delete from the PSA. Else, you would have to look through each PSA record that has not yet been loaded to find the erroneous record.

    Thanks.

    • Did you check all the PSA records and the status of each?

I mean - when you right click on the datasource and then manage -- it will list the PSA statuses (one for each infopackage run).

    Hi,

This is data issue. Space is present at the end.

Please edit PSA data, remove this space and try loading it.

Try to search data in that perticular field in PSA. It may help.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Rajiv

    Hi,

Do you, occasionally, have a start/end routine where may be you add records in the code?

    Hi,

At PSA, please check how many request are exist and which are not undated to further.

based on it, you can search for wrong record.

As my guess you might checking latest psa request only which have 13 records. but in error it showing as 363 record. means there will be more requests are lied at psa. pelase check on it.

    THanks

    Hi Rgi,

As you are using delta for loading from PSA, it will bring the new request only. As all the previous requests in PSA can have similar key for master data, it may prompt this.

I assume, you are using full load from ECC to BW till the PSA.

Could you please check in PSA, all available requests in PSA, usually it doesn't show all requests in first instance!!

First clear out PSA, if you are not emptying it on a regular basis in Process chains. Then try to load data using DTP manually (not in process chain.. so that if it succeeds we don't want the process chain to run again).

If the problem still persists and if it is only for one record, correct it manually in PSA request and reload.

If you are getting the errors of having space in the data on a regular basis, please maintain the coding in transformation to eliminate it.

    hope this helps!!

    Thanks,

    Krishna Kanth.
