Error connecting to IBMu0092s Test UDDI Registry

I have registered with IBM’s Test UDDI registry and I’m attempting to publish my Web Service using the NetWeaver 6.40 Sneak Preview tool. I continue to receive the following exception

Registry Error: Network is unreachable: connect. Is there some additional configuration needed to publish to a UDDI registry?

    Hello Dan,

you may need to set the Proxy Settings in the NetWeaver Developer Studio. This is done in the menu Window -> Preferences -> Workbench -> Proxy Settings.

    Cheers

    Hi Dan,

You have to set up the http proxy setting in the Visual Administrator: go to the Web Services Container and select the "Settings" tab.

Note that due to the public UDDI registies require SSL for the publish API, you need to install the IAIK crypto library that is available on the service marketplace.

    Best regards,

    Alexander
