Data Services support for HL7 standard

Hi everyone,

We have a Healthcare customer who uses HL7 messages to integrate with their Healthcare applications.

According to our investigations, this HL7 standard uses the communication protocol MLLP.

Is this supported by Data Services?

Hello David

As part SAP NL initiative, I have developed an adapter for integrating HL7 application using SAP PI 7.11. This adapter is a consulting solution and it is known as IAH (Integration Adapter for Healthcare). It can communicate HL7 messages over MLLP and has support for all HL7 V 2.X messages. The adapter is already being used by some of our local & international customers.

I am unable to find it on sdn... Can u kindly send a cross a link for the same?

Hello Vijendra,

I am close to use the HL7 adapter provided by SAP in a healthcare project, but I have a doubt, so a document created by you in 1 January 2011 called Integration Adapter for Healthcare on page 3 says this HL7 use MLLP protocol as well as the chart show, however in page 4 IHA Channels configuration receiver says MPPL protocol. This is a different protocol that MLLP ? or is only a writing mistake.
