CKMLCP - "List Contains no data" mesage in step 2

Former Member

Hi All,

When we are running the CKMLCP in this monthly closing we are receiving the mesage "List Contains no data" in step 2 (Determine Sequence). In the step 1 are selected 1896 materials.

I saw the OSS 1021361 about this. I checked the material status in CKMLPP table and all of them have the 01 status.

Any idea what is happening? Which is the next steps that we need to do to solve this?

Many thanks,

Ricardo Sanerip

Hi All,

According SAP support the answer for my question is:

"07.12.2010 - 17:53:22 CET - Resposta by SAP

Hi Ricardo,

There is no resolution as there is no problem. As soon as you start

to make transactions THIS month, the materials in the next month

closing will be included.

The below are the Material Statuses:

00 Undefined

01 New Object

05 Period Without Stock Opened

10 Period Opened

20 Price Change Completed

30 Quantities and Values Entered

31 Values Entered

40 Price Determined (Single-Level)

50 Price Determined (Multilevel)

60 Closing Entry Reversed

70 Closing Entry Completed

05 Period Without Stock Opened

As you go through the Month, the status may go to '30', then this

will included in the selection(if it is price determination 3)

Please review this with your CO Consultant, thanks.

Hi Sarada,

Just to update I checked the materials status in CKMLPP table and all of them have 01 status...

I took a look in the 1020833 note and it explain about the filtered status. According his note all materials are been filtered and so the list do not contains data...

Now i need understand what we need to do to solve the materials status. Any idea or tip about this?

Hi Sarada,

We do not use PP-PI scenario but production orders.

Thanks,

Hi

Even for production orders , you can check the goods are issued and consumptions are booked ..

You have a Make to Order senario i guess..

Please check whats posted in goods movement.. is it raw material transfer .. or goods issued to Production Order,

If all the 3 checklist mentioned are correct .. then i think you need to raise an OSS message .. butmy gut feel says there is some problem in step 3.

Hi Sarada ,

Thanks for replay me. I checked your 3 points.

1- All materials are 3/S. It´s Ok.

2. Both BOM and Routing existing for all the materials. It´s Ok.

3. I checked the stock by MMBE and after this i checked the same materials by CKM3. In this case i did not see any consumption in CKM3...I think it is not correct because we confirmed production orders last month and so we had stocks moviments...

Any idea?

Many thanks,

Hi Ricardo,

Point 3 seems to be the area where you need to see in detail . Use transaction COID ( for Finished/Semi Finished Goods) and check wether process orders are created for these materials and goods movement ( Movement Tye 261 or 201) has been made..

Or Else in MMBE , clearly check the movement type for material movements and confirm wether they are consumtion postings ..

I dont see any further reason , of system not considering the materials if all the three points are adhered.

Hi Ricardo ,

Hope following has been checked ..

1.. All the Materials is the selection List doesnot have "Price Determinaion "= 2 and " Price Control as V ".All have price control "S" and Price Determination as "3".

2. BOM and Routing existing for all the materials .( Quanity Structure ). To determine a multi-level structure, the consumption process types and quantities are crucial .. hence quantity structure is required .

3. Moreover ,Materials should have a quantity other than zero in the category consumption in order to be considered for the "Multi-Level Price Determination".. hence the materials must have been used for the month .

All what i have explained , is there in OSS Note : Note 1020833 - CKMLCP: Determine Sequence
