Hi Asher,
some standard repository managers for connecting document repositories are available in EP5.0 (see KM admin docu).
This will display the content in EP (incl. usage of KM services like TREX search, feedback, etc.). Depending on the nature of the CMS and the connector, some functions will not be available (e.g. no edit if the connector is read-only).
With the released EP6.0 repository framework APIs, you can write connectors to document repositories other than the ones in the KM standard product as well. Documentation (a concept paper and JavaDocs) can be found in the KM section of SDN.
Integration of web sites might be different as these don't work on document but on site level (which can lead to inconsistencies e.g. in navigation, layout, etc. on your portal pages). Depending on the structure of the CMS, the integration of the CMS web site via a standard KM web repository manager might be sufficient e.g. for searching.
For a complete integration of the whole web site in your portal role structure, you typically have to go a project-specific approach, e.g. include the CMS homepage in an extra role as a basic starting point.
Hope that helps a bit.
Cheers,
Joeg
