Migration of data from Seibel to SAP

Hi,

Can anyone Tell me how can I migrate data from seibel to SAP using LSMW. What steps should i follow. Is LSMW the best way to migrate data from seibel.

    Dinesh,

    LSMW cannot be used to "extract" data from any platform. It can only be used as a translation/transformation and Load tool on an SAP instance.

    I'm not that familiar with Siebel, but you'll have to use another tool to extract data.

    If Siebel is being retained within the enterprise, you should be considering MDM. Firstly as a means to extract and load data into MDM, and secondly to effectively maintain your master data on both SAP and Siebel.

      Siebel used to provide EIM tables for batch import/export as well as more granular but slower access using COM/DCOM based API's. Some of them may be java accessible now.

      One way would be export the data you need to the EIM tables from within Siebel and then pulling data from there or depending on the volume, utilize the other interfaces.
