Problems with SmartSync-Example (MDK)

I'm very new to the mobile engine. I am trying to go through the MDK-tutorials. Right now the one "Tutorial: Developing a simple Smart Sync Application".

We use ME 2.1 SP 02 Patch 03 Build 200310211511 and Eclipse Version: 3.0.0 (Build id: 200312182000)

Problems occur at Step 5 "Generate the client application using the Smart Sync Wizard in the MDK Plug-In for Eclipse". At the end of the creation of a new SmartSyncProject - as described in the tutorial - Eclipse shows this error-message in a dialog:

"Problems while organizing imports on some compilation units […]"

After selecting "Details>>" You get the information: "compilation unit contains ambiguous references. User interaction required." The Result: In the package-navigator all sources in folder "java" are marked with a red cross and I'am not able to create the war-file via export-function.

Does anyone have this problems, too? Anyone who got the examples do their work?

Thanks for any help
