HR replication from ECC to SRM: B208 relation missing

Hi Gurus,

I am working on SRM5.0 and we are replicating the HR org structure from ECC to SRM via idocs. The HR replication program is scheduled to run every midnight to update the SRM system with ECC data.

This problem is noticed mainly for the old users who were rightly setup before but after they come back from a long vacation, their user ids face similar problem.

When users go for long term leave, their SU01 ids are blocked in SRM and their employee record is set as inactive (infotype 000, PA40 transaction) by the HR team. Due to this, their CP and BP are deleted from SRM system when the update program is run.

When they are back from their leave, the HR sets their record as active and when the background program runs at midnight, the CP and BP are created again. Also, their SU01 id is unlocked in SRM by the Basis team.

But, the problem now is that the SU01 id remains detached from the CP and BP of the user. It is not automatically linked to the user id. I find that the relation B208 (CP-US) is missing for such cases in HRP1001 table of SRM system.

Is this standard behaviour of the system? Would I have to always manually assign such users to their BPs?

Regards,

Ancy

Hi Ancy,

I cannot simulate your case so I delete one CP's relationship B208 in our SRM 7.0 table HRP1001. After PFAL to distribute the corresponding person from backend, idoc was posted successfully and the relationship entry was re-built. Therefore, I think in case idoc distributed for any HR data change, relationship B208 should be re-built.

On the other hand, may I know before HR employee inactive and after "HR sets their record...the CP and BP are created again", are the BP number identical?
