Hi,

How to create configurable product in CRM. what are the pre requisites to create a configurable product in CRM

currently working on crm 7.0

Hi,

as far as I understand you want to create configurable products in CRM (not in ERP), right?

A prerequisite is that you activate product configuration in Customizing (spro) under -> Customer Relationship Management -> Master Data ->Products -> Settings for Configurable Products -> Allow Configurable Products for a Product Type.

Steps for creating a configurable product:

+ Create a product

+ Set the product as configurable (checkbox in "Product Details" assignment block -> "Processing Details" area).

+ Save the product

For setting up the product model for the configurable material the CRM PME (Product Modeling Environment) is used.

After creating a configurable product as described above you see an additional assignment block "Product Models".

+ Open it

+ Click on "Edit List"

+ Click on "Insert"

+ Enter a name and version of the product model you want to create

+ Click on "Save & Back"

+ Select the product model in the list

+ Click on "Edit"

-> The CRM PME is opened where you can maintain the product model (characteristic, values, dependencies, etc.)
