we will soon provide a tool on SDN, called PCD Inspector.

    Powerful, good, stable.

    Hi Sandra

I am just curious where would we use the kind of metrics you are asking and how that would be useful.

    • Ah... Sweet. Now I see the light. Just like code refactoring. If I change the name of method in a class, it would impact at all the places that method was used in the code. So gotta replace at all the places. Thanks for the shedding the light on this.

    Hi Sandra,

the Pcd Inspector tool will solve your problem. It is now available as read-only version in SDN:

    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sapportals.km.docs/documents/a1-8-4/pcd inspector tool download.htm

There is a documention of the tool that explains how to install it and how it works. Please have a look at the topic 'where-used list' in this documentation. Displaying this where used-lists within the Pcd Inspector tool will solve your problem.

    Regards,

    Jens
